Jason Aquino

President and Founder
Jason leads many of the company’s engagements and oversees development of all new projects. An expert in war gaming, alternative futures analysis, and strategic decision making, he has been in the strategy profession for over 20 years.

Jason created the research, intelligence, and analytics program for Ryder Cup USA and has been an advisor to U.S. Ryder Cup captains since 2016. He has led a similar effort for U.S. Presidents Cup captains since 2022. Jason works with multiple front offices in professional sports on matters of research strategy, decision quality, and long-term competitiveness.

Before starting SCOUTS, Jason was a consulting military analyst to the U.S. Department of Defense. For a decade he led studies and war gaming projects related to future U.S. military competitiveness.

Jason has a B.S.F.S. in International Politics and an M.A. in Security Studies from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He is based in the Washington, DC, area and spends his free time playing golf and reading. He also advises the Andrew W. Marshall Foundation, which develops future generations of strategic thinkers who will contribute to U.S. national security.
